MINIATURE TEXTILE EXHIBITION
October 1 through 31, 2015
Kent State University School of Art DOWNTOWN Gallery (coordinated by Janice Lessman-Moss, jlessman@kent.edu, 330-672-2158)
All textile art faculty from MFAEN member institutions are invited to participate (with one or two pieces) in this exhibition scheduled to be presented this fall at the Downtown Gallery at Kent State University. Textile Art students from MFAEN member institutions will also be considered for inclusion by submitting one or two images for jurying.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Work may not be larger than 10x10x10 inches. (No extremely fragile work should be submitted.)
2. All work should be ready for installation, with appropriate hanging/mounting devices and clear instructions for any special installations. (No frames or mounts should exceed the 10x10x10 inch dimensions.)
3. Work must be shipped in a reusable container for easy return.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Work will be insured while in the gallery and may be for sale. (Gallery takes a 40% commission on all works sold.)
Return shipment of the work will be assumed by the gallery through FedEX or UPS. (Work will be returned to the artist as soon as possible after the close of the exhibition (within two weeks) if the work is not sold.)
IMPORTANT DATES:
September 13, 2015 DEADLINE for STUDENTS to submit work for jurying. Please send images of your work (approx.1000x1000dpi) as jpegs labeled with your last name and image number. Also include an image list specifying: title, date of creation, dimensions, material and process. Also include the sale price and insurance value. Email to: jlessman@kent.edu
